Be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Psalm 31:24

NOTE FROM PAT: I'm saddened to report that Joyce Jamerson's husband, Frank, passed from this earthly life Sunday night (5/6/12), a couple of days after publishing this site. While I'm so sorry for her grief, I recognize Joyce is also rejoicing that Frank no longer has to endure such pain and now is at home with the Lord. In her last post she writes:

The battle is over

It is fitting that Frank passed from this life on a Sunday (9:50 p.m.)...only two weeks after he was last able to attend worship services. We were all here - our boys, Frank's sisters and my brother and his wife. He took his last breath as my brother was praying.

Thank you for your prayers and all the words of comfort. The battle is over and there will be no more pain...only rejoicing.

Joyce Jamerson

If you would like to send words of comfort, go to Joyce's page, Looking Within, and you can send her a note in the text box found at the bottom of the page. Throughout Frank's illness, Joyce continued to write articles for our encouragement and admonishment. I appreciate not only Joyce's ability, but most of all, her perseverance in faith and in the Lord's work.

Our hearts and prayers go with you, Joyce.

Some of our writers are going through very difficult times now. Please keep us in your prayers. Joyce's husband, Frank, passed away Sunday night. Not only pray for Joyce and her family's comfort, but Joyce has her own physical problems and her body may go through a difficult period as it relaxes from the ongoing adreneline. Cindy has been very ill and for some time has been having a difficult time. Other writers in our group have ongoing health problems, grief, and concerns about the health of loved ones. Thank you for your care and prayers. You remain in our hearts and prayers and we are grateful to you.
