To argue providence on the basis of experience is a
slippery slope—because experience is so subjective. Even in a case where providence is certain (from a consideration
of the divine record), Mordecai could only ask of Esther: “Who knows whether or not you have come to
the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14). And Paul could but comment to Philemon—of mysterious events
in the life of Onesimus: “Perhaps he was therefore parted from you for a season, that you should have
him for ever” (Philemon 15). Confident knowledge, therefore, is grounded in objective revelation—not subjective
speculation. -Wayne Jackson/"All Things Work Together for Good - Controversy or Comfort?" see

God is our refuge and strength A very present help in trouble Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried Into the midst of the sea, Though it's waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake With it's swelling. Selah Psalms 46:1-3 (NKJV)

OUR REFUGE (Psalms 9:9) When times are dark and dreary And no
one seems to care Our Savior is our refuge If we go to Him in prayer
. . . He's always near to help us and make
our burdens light It's like a ray of sunshine even on the darkest night. (Clara B. Plotner)

If there is righteousness in the heart, There will be beauty in the Character. If there is beauty in the character, There will be harmony in the home. If there is harmony in the home, There will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, There will be peace in the world. (Author unkown)
